About Us

The San Pedro Cafe opened for business on March 13, 2000 as a culinary-focused, guest-centric Caribbean-themed restaurant in downtown Hudson, Wisconsin. The heart of our kitchen is our large wood-fired oven used to prepare fresh seafood, slow-smoked meats and vegetables, specialty pizzas, and a variety of other culinary delights.

 The San Pedro Café is located in historic downtown Hudson, just one block from the St. Croix River. This historic 1872 vintage building was the very first Bank of Hudson and features the original architectural elements such as intricate brick archways, cast iron pillars, pressed tin ceiling and exposed brick walls that have been integrated with our Caribbean-themed bar and décor. Our reclaimed wormy oak bar back, Brazilian Cinderella Blue granite 16-seat bar, custom 100 gallon salt water coral garden fish tank, Island art, and reggae playlist will make you feel like you’re on an island get-away. Our tropical two-tiered urban patio with a waterfall feature is a hidden treasure and open when weather permits.

 Our culinary team prepares house-made jerk spices, salsas, desserts, and our signature lemon-habanero aioli daily. Our Smoked Chicken Nachos were recognized by delish.com as the  most epic nachos in Wisconsin!  Daily lunch, weekend brunch/dinner and weekly Island Time features – there’s always something new and creative to try at the San Pedro Café.

 Our signature cocktails use fresh fruit juices and purees, Caribbean rums, and 100% agave tequilas. Our house-made margarita mix is crafted daily from fresh squeezed limes. Habanero and jalapeno infused liquors provide an extra kick to classic Caribbean recipes. Our expansive wine list was recognized by Wine Spectator magazine with the Award of Excellence.

The San Pedro Café, along with our sister restaurants, Barker’s Bar & Grill and Pedro’s del Este, want to reward you for being loyal customers. Join our Loyalty Club and start earning rewards with every visit to one of our locations. 

How it works: Earn a point for every dollar spent at our restaurants. On Tuesdays, earn two points per dollar! For every 150 points you accumulate, you’ll earn a $10 reward. Rewards can be used to cover up to 50% of your pre-tax total on your next visit. Points and rewards can be earned and used at any of our locations. Ask your server for more details.
